My mom is not here right now, she is on a trip with my dad, so I spent mother's day with both my grandmas. We had a great time, first we took one of them to my sister's boyfriend's restaurant and ate, and afterward went to my other grandma's house (she was injured, and couldn't move so much because she had a fall the other day). My mom will be back in a couple of weeks, so I which her and all the mom's a happy day.
In poker I've been making the transition to PokerTracker 3 so I'm uploading all the hands I have (there are a lot so its taking a lot of time). I like PT3 a lot and I'll be configuring the HUD to be more useful that before. I did played a couple of sessions HU, but had two bad days where I lost like $2,200 in total, after that I've only played one session and manage to win close to $900 so I'm down for the month by $500 or so. I didn't felt too bad at all and am confident I can bounce back even stronger to finish this month with a bang, its all about Attitude:
ATTITUDE
"I find that it is not the circumstances in which we are placed, but the spirit in which we face them, that constitutes our comfort." -- Elizabeth T. King
"If you don't like something change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain." -- Maya Angelou
"Some folks go through life pleased that the glass is half full. Others spend a lifetime lamenting that it's half-empty. The truth is: There is a glass with a certain volume of liquid in it. From there, it's up to you!" -- Dr. James S. Vuocolo
"A great attitude does much more than turn on the lights in our worlds; it seems to magically connect us to all sorts of serendipitous opportunities that were somehow absent before we changed." -- Earl Nightingale
BALANCE
"Live a balanced life-learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some." -- Robert Fulghum
"We can have it all, but not at the same time." -- Patricia Fripp
"If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome." -- Anne Bradstreet
"The seasons do not push one another; neither do clouds race the wind across the sky. All things happen in their own good time." -- Dan Millman
