UFC 111

This weekend was the UFC 111 event featuring GSP vs Dan Hardy and Frank Mir vs Shane Carwin. Carwin fought really well and dominated Mir with his power (He probably could have done the same thing to Fedor so thats scary). Good thing is that now he will fight Brock and we can see him fight someone else not named Frank.

In the main event, GSP was kind of disappointed with his performance cause he wanted to finish Hardy and he couldn't, even thou he had him with two deep submissions attempts (armbar and Kimura) Hardy did well and escaped. I think GSP was too nice in both occasions and took it easy on him. In the armbar he made the simple mistake of not squeezing his legs together and using his hip to break his arm instead of using his arm strength (but who am I to criticize the champ) .

Right after the fight he went back to the locker room and was trying to figure out what did he do wrong in those attempts, here is the video:

Props to Hardy for his escape, but he got caught really deep in those. Whatever next time GSP just have to break his arm and don't be that nice.

Ok, maybe not the best video to learn, but it sure was fun to watch.

Best thing of the event was that Rachel Leah was back as a ring girl (will do it again in UFC 112). I missed her, hopefully she will do it more often.
