Some BJJ this week and UFC 107

This past week I've been lucky enough to train and participate in seminars with Gran Master Flavio Behring (9th degree black-red belt) in 3 different ocassions. I've learned a lot, and had the opportunity to spar with people from other places (Including a no-gi rolling session where I submitted someone for the first time with a guillotine choke). So I'm feeling strong again and improving pretty fast. Today there was a competition, but I'm still not ready to compete just yet (Maybe in like 8 months or something like that).

Also yesterday was the UFC 107 event, and again BJ Penn dominated Diego Sanchez thru 5 rounds until he landed a massive kick that opened a nasty cut for the TKO in the 5th. He is going to feel all alone at the top of the mountain ala GSP. No one can touch those guys at their weight class right now and is hard to find someone that can even seems to give them any trouble.

Also Frank Mir impressed me with how he beat up Kongo. He has put up some weight (Most of it in muscle) to be able to compete with the Heavy weights monsters like Brock Lesner and Shane Carwin, but he didn't lose his explosiveness/ speed which is something very important. The Heavy weight division is getting pretty interesting right now and I'm looking forward to see Junior Dos Santos, Cain Velazquez, Big Nog, Shane beat each other up to get to the title.
